One for Six, but they'll take it.

Morris and JCA met for the 6th time tonight since the playoffs began with an "oh fer five" - but six was their lucky number.

Dergo ran all over the defense tonight, and added a couple interceptions that stopped drives that could have been scores.

Easy to see why he's player of the year.

The turning point in the game came in the first half. With a first and 10 at the Morris 10 and to come away with no points shifted the momentum to Morris. When it could have been 21-7 JCA at the half. Catholic didn't score and Morris did after Dergo brought them down the field in less than 2 minutes to tie the game 14-14 at the half.

Late in the game Catholic had a chance to tie the game at 28 but faced with a 4th and 2 from the 8 an ill timed pass was over thrown and picked off by Dergo. Although Catholic had success throwing in key situations, most expected a run, as I'm sure Morris did as well. Even if we were stopped, we're going with our strength (running the ball).

In the last 2 minutes Catholic drove to the Morris 30, but came up short.

A big game that lived up to the hype.
